[GALAXY S4] BUG THREAD!! Found a bug?

Im having the issue of when im listening to google music the volume will drop dramatically, and I have to pause the music and replay it in order for it to go back to the level I set it as. I cant go through a 4 minute song without it doing that at least 3 times. How do I fix that?

Im using a sprint s4 and havent gotten the mf9 update yet.

If you assign a custom ringtone to a contact, it returns back to the default ringtone when the device is turned off. Very annoying.

I'm not sure this is a bug but everytime I download a picture it will take forever to show up in the gallery. After I go to downloads and clear all, the picture will show up right away. Is anyone else seeing this?

Also when I've downloaded pictures off my Gmail account and then erased the email the pictures will disappear from my gallery. Any fixes?

gallary had a lot of issues, with the recent MF9 update (on sprint), the gallery is fixed

verizon is always last with updates...i would guess mid-late august based on their patterns

Verizon s4. I turn off screen mirroring and still have the tab in every picture I take to select device to mirror. Go back into settings, it's turned back on. Won't stay off! Bug?

I think I found a bug. I have 2 AT&T S4's and both do the same thing. I'm in the Chicago area. When I use the world clock option in the clock, I have Chicago GMT-6 and then I added Oslo Norway GMT +1 But the time shown for Oslo is only 6 hours ahead not 7. I selected Stockholm also GMT+1 it does show the correct time. I installed a different world clock and it displayed the correct times.

Could DST have caused this?

I have had issues with a few different fonts on the S4 even ones that it takes you to when you click get fonts online from with in the display settings

Try downloading iFont from the Play Store

I have a question, not sure it's a bug or not, or just me doing something wrong.

When I had the note 2 and I went on a website and downloaded a font I was able to use it... but with the S4, went to the same site to download the same font.. I could see it when I go in my settings to change the font, but when I press OK to select it.. it says "Font not available"

Does S4 support different file type? (the font was .apk)

Hi Guys i have a samsung galaxy s4 and i seem to be having many problems with it .. it keeps acting up and locking and unlocking by itself. while im typing the keyboard disappears games are acting strangely. i have tryed a factory reset and it does the same thing HELP PLS

All the pre-installed apps that I'm sure pretty much no one uses?... I consider that a bug. It takes up so much memory, and that why they have to be able to put in an SD card... It's not necessarily an option anymore. Is there any possible way to delete these factory installed apps? They take up RAM and are always running in the background..

My universal search stopped working and I can't figure how to get it back on. I have this habit of just searching for the app I want to use rather than navigating to press it.

Example: Search for yelp, the first choice should be the Yelp app on the phone, but instead it is skipping the app search. I've turned on the search inside the google settings but no dice.

Here is a screenshot of anyone has any tips.

EDIT: Does it matter if apps are on the SD Card?

I had a bug a while ago that my SD card would eject from the OS and not be recognized. However, it was only temporary. I'm happy to report no bugs now. This is the best phone I've had, followed by a Note 2.

yes and even after I have exited all apps. I often found erasing or terminating all 'background' running apps helpes

In fact I have had several issues that even Samsung support could not resolve
1. I had a hard time to move contacts to SIM - ended by not using SIM as storage and sending ll contacts to google.
2. Once in a wile it would shut off by itself and turn back on again
3. it corrupted my MP3 files and no matter what I did, or app I use to play the music it just would not play - of course because the file got corrupted 'automatically' for unknown reasons. samsung help/chat line could not resolve this. Ended with me having to reformat my SD card after backing up my other file to my computer.
4. Despite the good battery I found replacing the original with a 5200mAh battery was a good idea.
