Galaxy s4 Contacts

Default App for contacts on my s4 is painfully slow to open. Any way to speed it up?

How many contacts do you have? I'd try clearing the cache on the contacts app.

It's not phone specific...my HTC Incredible 4G LTE is slow too. And my contact storage cache is at zero, so nothing is there to clear...any other ideas?

I have about 4500 contacts that I sync with my Google account. How do I clear the contacts cache? My old BlackBerry was super quick!
