I had my s4 plugged in to charge and it got burning hot. Unplugged it and went to sleep and it woke me up with a low charge tone. Took the case off and the battery out and let it sit to cool off. Recharged and it seems fine. Can anyone tell me what that was all about? Was something bad running? Thanks!

Something may have stuck on in the background. GPS or location. A sync that failed to go through. Battery pull probably solved it.

Keep an eye on the phone and make sure it doesn't repeat. Go to Settings > Battery and see what was sucking up all the juice.

I'm getting the feeling I might have software conflict issues. It keeps freezing for about 5 seconds when I'm swyping or scrolling. Is there a way to check for incompatibility? Honestly, for all the good press this phone gets I'm a little annoyed with the problems.
