Galaxy S4 lock screen password won't work after Lolipop update

Hello guys I have a problem, had my s4 for about a year now and on the old android version before lollipop I could setup a lockscreen passcode but after the update the password won't work, what I mean is that when I setup a pattern or pin code, it does not work it's just the normal swipe to unlock,any way I can fix it? I tried many things, factory reset many times.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you giving it enough time to lock? Or try setting it to lock the screen when you press the Power button, then turn on the screen again. Do you see the lockscreen password entry?

Also, do you have Smart Lock turned on?
