Galaxy S4 Modile Data not working

[AC Question]

Hi,

Since I upgraded the software to 4.4.2 the mobile data will not work properly. It won't toggle with Wifi and when I try and turn mobile data on I get the message "insert SIM card to access network services". Any help much appreciated!!

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you have a SIM inserted that was functional prior to the update, correct? Are you able to make phone calls? Have you spoken with your wireless provider? Perhaps a replacement SIM might help.

Did you upgrade it officially? If you did it with Odin, please flash a non-carrier based modem since carrier based firmware may have carrier lock on it.
