Galaxy S4 Power Button Issue (or maybe something else).

Sometimes when I press the power button the power menu pops up as if the button was still being held. I took it to a shop but the guy was useless (greeks lol). After he "fixed" it it started powering down randomly more frequently then it did before. Battery is relatively new, bought it a year or so ago. Turning the phone back on can also be difficult as the power button seems to have trouble responding while the device is off.
 
Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like the power button is remaining in a pressed state for longer than you're actually pressing it. This could potentially lead to inadvertent forced shutdowns, since most Android phones can be forced to shut down by pressing and holding Power for about 15 seconds (although Samsung is usually Power and Vol Down together for 15 seconds). You probably need to bring it to a better repair shop, and ask them to repair or replace the Power button.
