Galaxy s4 video player cast to smart tv - sony bravia

This is NOT a screen mirroring question. I used to be able to play a video on my S4 standard video player, and touch the cast button in the upper right corner, then my tv would appear as an option, and the tv would just render the video via home network. Now when I click on the cast to tv button , nothing happens.
