Hi,
I recently bought a used S5 for 170 €, but it isn't problem free.
It has Android ****typop 5.0 and it's wifi and Bluetooth won't work. Ive tried almost everything on the net:Formatting cache, factory reset(3 times), battery removing etc etc.It doesn't work in safe mode either, and the sd card slot is a bit broken so i don't have an sd card. I'm thinking that this is hardware problem but hopefully not... I'm trying to find a rom or something but this devoce is rare and unrecognized so that's hard, i also want to update to Marshmallow using Samsung Updates | Latest News and Firmware for your Samsung Devices! but their download method is **** enough for me to abandon that ****. Please help me, my data charges are going to be through the roof...

The G900H is the non 4G/LTE model. See #1.3 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide.

You could try downloading the stock Samsung firmware for your model of phone and Product Code and flash it via Odin by following the instructions and video contained in the links of #1.11 of the aforementioned Dummies Guide, to see if that helps.

Sorry for the late reply, but a lot has happened since my last post.First fix i tried was flashing what you said, a stock rom.I tried a marshmallow one from Sammobile, AND IT WORKED.But later on it started cutting of from time to time. Then after a couple of months it got broken again for good. I tried reflashing many different stock ROMs but no succes. Then I got a S7, so i left the S5 behind. Now I want to give it to someone but also fix the WiFi. I just installed Lasedar ROM for my phone : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/development/rom-ladesar-rom-s5-v4-5-s6-port-t3219989 .WiFi (and Bluetooth BTW) didn't work again. Now I'm trying to install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2742383 (kernel) but it isn't going that smooth because it needs to be done through Flashify. One last important thing i stupidly forgot to mention: The phone is a G900X, not H. That means that this is a Live Demo Unit , if that helps.

So, the X Live Display dummy model that cannot make phone calls or texts and is not supported by Samsung with firmware, obviously. Not much you can do with it. You could try the thread, here.

G900H ROMs work with it just like a normal phone, except for the WiFi. Also I've seen that thread multiple times but it seems too complicated for nothing.

You do not appear to have the G900X dummy display model then if the G900H firmware you flashed, allows you to make calls and send texts, since the G900X does not have a modem to do this. Install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and see exactly what it shows under Product Code.

I currently can't get get the App on my S5 but I'm pretty sure it's G900X because it was clearly written in a sticker behind the battery. Also when i bought it it was rooted so it might've been modified to support calls etc by a previous owner.

OK i got the app and under Phone Model it says G900H. But don't forget the current rom that's installed is from SAMMOBILE for G900H

If your phone has an IMEI number, needed to make calls, it is not a G900X phone as the Live Demo model does not have a modem/baseband installed. No amount of rooting will change a phone's hardware I am afraid.

As per post #1, here...

"with a Live Demo Unit YOU CAN'T DO PHONE CALLS or TEXT MESSAGING"
