Galaxy S5: Got my Spigen tough armor today

Got the Spigen tough armor today. Looks good. Although I am a little concerned about how slick it is. It's a rubber case, with the armor plate over it, which detaches pretty easily by the way.

Hmm, it looks pretty nice, a shame that the back comes off pretty easily, I guess I'll get the Neo Hybrid. How long did it take to ship?

It won't come off easily with phone installed. I've had it for 3 phones. Best case out there. However it its slippery.

I have the same one for my iPhone and yes it scratches extremely easily. I know that is the purpose of a case to protect your phone but still, it looks like crap after about a week of use.

I also have the same one it looks like crap in a week and its more slippery than the phone without the case

I just got my Tough Armor case yesterday. I was a bit disappointed with the lip below the fingertip scanner interfering with the thumb sweep. My retries increased a fair amount. I ended up sending it back to Amazon.

Really? I don't have that problem. I think the fact that it's rubber makes it easier. It doesn't add too much bulk but it does make it feel like a paper weight!

Hey guys. Hope somebody here can help me out. I just got my "Spigen Tough Armor Black" on the mail today. I believe its a fake. Mind you I live in Mexico and counterfits are everywhere. Even in decent respectable places, one of which I got my case. Listing below why I think I got a knock off.

1. Audio jack port hole is round instead of oval
2. Circular brand mark on the inside of the case is blank (this one is the big give away)
3. Box on which it came is not exactly the same as the OP

Can anyone with a legit case take a picture of the inside of the case and the audio port Jack hole so that I can compare and make sure it is a fake.
I want to confront the vendor but I want to be 100% sure and hopefully have some evidence to show him that it is a fake.

Any help is appreciated.


* Note: Other than what I wrote up there, there is absolutely no difference in looks at all. And the phone fits snug and secure. Other than me nitpicking, this is actually a very nice case. Still I must persue righteousness...

It looks a lot like the case I have and I'm realllly enjoying mine. I dont really have a problem with the back coming off at all. The sides have really good grip too. It wasn't expensive so it was worth the try and I'm glad it turned out to be a great case.

Hi, I noticed your post while doing a search for fake spigen tough armor. I also have received a non-genuine tough armor case, which seems to look just like yours. I received it today, bought it from ebay for pretty cheap, about 11 dollars. I noticed fairly quick that this case didn't seem genuine as the tells were no official branding on the inside of case, non official packaging as it came in a plastic wrap. I have contacted the seller and hopefully we can resolve this in a fair manner. Just wanted to post this for evidence to help others.
Considering it is a replica case, it's not all that bad, but it does have a loose fit. I almost worry that if hit right, the phone might fall out.

Each Spigen case should come with an authentication card which you'd be able to add the serial number in to see if it is legit or not.
