Galaxy S5 Native Calendar no longer syncs with Google

Today the native calendar (green one) on my Galaxy S5 stopped syncing with my Google calendar. When I checked the settings there were no calendars listed. When I try to add a calendar, the app crashes. In addition to that, all the appointments on my phone have been deleted. The calendar is version 1.0.

It also will not sync to Outlook, which it had done previously.

Go to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your Google account], and make sure Calendar is checked. Also, go to Settings>Accounts-Samsung, and see if there is a Calendar option there as well.
