My Galaxy S5 which has never been rooted became soft bricked a few days ago. Heres the order of steps I've tried
-Recovery booting, it just reset and continued to be soft bricked
-Booting into download mode and then hitting restart phone, it booted normally and then crashed and continued to be soft bricked
-Flashing the firmware I downloaded odin and and flashed the most recent firmware, odin said success, phone rebooted, still soft bricked but I was able to access the recovery menu and did a full system restore
-System restore worked for about 6 hours before going back to soft bricked
-Flashing will not do anything anymore
What are my options here? Should I just cut my losses and pick up a new phone? Thanks
