galaxy s5 touch problem

Gently rub the screen wid ur palm for a minute. Make the screen "hotter" Problem goes away [tried it just now a few minutes ago and the prob has not recurred yet]. Weird but true.

doesnt solve the problem with my s5 :-( ... open for more suggestions guys...

i have the same problem with S5. i had s4 for 10 months it had connectivity issues with network, my company RMA'd it and got s5 and now this has different issues. pretty irritating. i have no screen protector, just a case thats it. when it works it works, when it doesnt its irritating, u cant even take calls sometimes when your swipe is not recognized. !! i switched from iphone 4 to android and was happy for a while, now i hate these samsung phones !! i have increase touch sensitivity too and no use. if i take it back for return its going to be hard to prove. what a pathetic piece of technology. cant beleive i have to live with this for next 2 years.

I removed the Google Now widget from my home screen and this seemed to solve my problems with freeze screen and ghost touches.

It seems that the 4G has to be working for the swipe to respond. Very insanely frustrating for the amount paid for the phone and to the service provider.

If there's no 4g signal the s5 will not respond... shady if you ask me
