hi all,

Having since I updated my S5 with some carrier update the usb has started not to work, The only thing that works is charging I cant even flash the firmware as it wont even connect. I have tryed installing the driver manually and tryed using kies to get it working still no result.

I have tryed multiple cables and 3 pc's. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I formated my laptop and never installed any updates still the same.

Could I flash the stock rom using the SD card method?

Let me check with people who know Samsung devices better.

No, and I'm guessing it's not easy unless it's done via USB right?
Yeah, for most methods you need to plugged into a computer. I'm not aware of any currently working ones which don't require it.

Any suggestions to going forward.. Sent it back to Samsung?

Hmm. Yeah, as long as the device hasn't been damaged that should be covered under warranty :)
