Galaxy S5 - When pressing the power button more than once android hangs as if its restarting

[AC Question]

So when I press the power button to wake the phone up and then press it again to turn the screen back off and then back on my phone goes black for 10 seconds and is unresponsive then its like the phone has just booted up (slow, see the elements of the screen load).

Any idea why this is happening?
