Hi,

Has anyone be able to sync a Garmin heart Rate Monitor with your Galaxy S6? Was hoping to use it with S Health but haven't seen anyway to connect.

Just wanted to bump this back up. Everything says this should work but I haven't been able to connect.

I got mine to registered no problem using S Health app.

Did your S health pick up the sensor ID? S Health > More > Accessories > View More > Soft Strap Premium Heart Rate Monitor

Once your HRM shows up just tab on it (ANT HRM ######). The HRM should be registered to your S6.

Got mine paired but it won't read from it. Keeps on asking for my finger on the scanner. Can't get it to work while running. Please help?

Similar issue here, I was able to pair the sensor after many tries, however measurement is unstable. At the same time by bike sensor reads the heart rate correctly.

This was driving me nuts. Samsung S Health app appeared to find my Garmin device but not registering any heart beats. However, when I started an actual workout, it did start detecting heart rate. For instance, when say "start exercise bike" it indicates the HRM is connected and then starts tracking beats.

The trouble and confusion with the S Health App is that "heart rate" icon doesn't activate an attached heart rate monitor and only prompts for a finger on the sensor HR.
