Lock or Hide a Pixel 7 Folder without Having a Screen Lock

How can I lock or hide a folder on my Pixel 7 without having to set up a screen lock? All I've seen during my internet surfing is that one must first have a screen lock.

I believe safe folder within Google's File app you can set up without lockscreen security

I always use a lock on my phones so I will have to test it without it
