Hello everyone.. since a few days I am experiencing this bad problem. I realize that my battery is draining faster than normal. But the biggest problem is that when it reaches 30% of the full charge, it goes down to 0% within a few minutes and then the phone turns off. As soon as I plug it back to the charger, it starts charging from 25%. Something is wrong. Can you please help me solving it if possible? thanks in advance!

This is a typical sign of a bad battery, and is why I will never, (well as long as I can do it), buy a phone with an embedded battery. You'll probably need to get the battery replaced by a repair shop, or Samsung.

How old is the phone? Samsung warrants the battery for 1 year, so if you're under that, you might contact them for warranty repair.

The phone is quite new.. I bought it in May.. but thank you for your help. Any clue on how long Samsung would need to change my battery?

I really don't know. You might contact them and see if there's an authorized Samsung repair shop near you. If you bought it from your carrier, they may even exchange it for you. It'll probably be a refurb though. Be aware that any damage on the phone (cracked screen, etc) may give Samsung reason to not warrant the repair. Too many horror stories about that here.

bah.. it has a little scratch on the side.. not even the screen.. now I am afraid they are gonna use this reason for not repairing the battery. But thanks, I thought it had to be changed but it's really a new phone so I find it quite weird. Thank you!

While "bad battery" seems to be a good conclusion, I find it odd that others, including myself, started having this issue around the same time. And I've had my phone for a couple of weeks over a year now.

Just curious, but is your carrier AT&T? Because this issue didn't even begin to occur for me until after one of their recent updates.

I agree that it seems AT&T phones with MM are having strange problems lately, from apparent battery problems, to crashing, or just dying.

Mine is doing the same thing yet I have Sprint, and Ive had this phone since the S6 was released.
