I did a factory reset on my device, but the issue persists. I also followed directions on Youtube to update the TS firmware, and still no success? Has anyone found a real solution to this, or have I bought my last Samsung?

it is probably a hardware fault or moisture inside the button.
have you tried the rice trick?

Have same problem on my Meizu MX4 pro, in my meizu back button spamming work as key 226. Add new function to this key in this file /system/usr/keylayout/gpio-keys.kl...
key 102 HOME WAKE
key 114 VOLUME_DOWN
key 115 VOLUME_UP
key 116 POWER
key 196 FINGERPRINT
key 226 FOCUS
And have no problem. Works for me.

Hello everyone, I'm new around here.

I got my S6 last Wednesday and twice since then my back button has gone out of control as if I am spam pressing it, I have put the phone down to make I am not accidentally pressing anything and it continues. I was just wondering is this is a somewhat common problem or if it would be a good idea to exchange it over for a new one.

Downlaod All in One Gestures app from Play Store,
1. Open App
2. Select "Hard Keys" tab and Enable "Hard Keys".
3. Under "Back Key" Select "Single Tap" and scroll down the list and select "No Action".

All in One Gestures off Play Store and disable single tap (No Action) for back button and replace it with a swipe action or long press.
