Galaxy S6 vs Note 4?

It's a vicious cycle but the GN4 is still a great device. The GS4 is out of date.

The GS4 is out of date? Really? Mine works as well as I'd like... does everything I've asked of it in business or in personal life. Phone call quality, texting, browsing, maps, location, size of screen... all still work well.

Plus... I still swap out batteries and reboot in under forty seconds. I'm not tethered to a charge cable.

You talk too much!

I just read in a Forbes article that Google has finally identified the cause of the memory leak and it will be fixed in 5.1.1. That's not to say those with OEM skins - like TouchWiz or Sense - won't fix the issue in their builds sooner if they know the cause.

I hope that is the case. Otherwise, I may wait until the fix is pushed out OTA to purchase my GS6.

I'm not that worried about the memory leak. Not everyone is suffering from issues with it. The symptoms of it have been random reboots and lag for users on 5.1. On my Nexus 5, I'm running 5.1 and haven't experienced any of the issues reported. However, I did do a full system wipe and installed factory images. Before when I upgraded to lollipop using the over-the-air update, I experienced a lot of issues and many of those were resolved once I did full flash to 5.1. The memory leak may be caused by users doing an upgrade compared to a full system image install. Additionally, the OEMs will review the software and make their own changes as well. I personally have no concerns buying the phone when it is released.

The memory leak issue was the mostly in 5.0 and 5.01. Google fixed it somewhat in 5.02 but 5.1 and above is supposed to fix it completely.
