Hello guys.

My Galaxy S7 had a problem once where it used to stuck at the Samsung Logo when booting. I took it to a Samsung Rep and they repaired it for me because it was on the warranty period. 3 months after this repair i was using the phone normally and then suddenly it restarted and now it boots straight into the "Downloading... please don't turn off" Odin Screen. When i restart the phone it shows the Samsung Galaxy S7 screen real fast and then goes to the "Downloading..." screen, without even showing the "Warning A custom OS...." screen. And when on this screen it does not show the usual Odin screen info on the top left corner. If i try to restart it with the Volume Down, Power and Home sometimes it shows the usual screens for Odin (First the Warning Screen and then the Downloading with the info on the top left corner).

I tried to flash a new firmware but it always gives me the "There is no PIT partition" error. I searched a lot on the internet but couldn't find anyone with the same issue, only people who are stuck on odin mode but then when they press the volume down, home and power button the phone boots normally.

Thanks

Try Samsung Smart Switch and use Emergency Firmware Recovery and let us know how you get on

I tried it but when i put the info on Samsung Smart Switch Emergency Firmware Recovery it says that SM-G930F is not compatible

I'll try when i get home. Thanks for the help

That happened to me once... Press all 4 physical buttons at once to reboot. Home key+volume up+volume down+power button. Let's us know how it works out

Nothing. If i press the 4 buttons it does the same thing :/

And with both Kies and Smartswitch i get the "'SM-G930F' does not support support initializing. Please contact our service center" error message

This is the Log when i try to flash with HOME_CSC

OK can you confirm the firmware you tried to flash? What region are you in and is the phone tied to any carrier?

I can't tell for sure. All that i know is that it was stock. Never rooted of flashed anything that was not stock rom

I mean, i flashed this same FW when i got the Samsung Boot Logo stuck for the first time, but after that i don't know if i updated it some time via OTA.

Hmm OK. I haven't encountered this before and don't want to be responsible for bricking your device. My suggestion is you post on xda forums. The guys on there are very knowledgeable and I'm sure could help you.

Hope you get it resolved. Sorry I can't help further but I won't take chances with anyone's device

I tried putting my wife's S7, same model, S/N on the Smart Switch and it worked but i didnt go further. Do you know if there is any problem using another serial number on smart switch?
