AC Question

Have had my S7 for over 6 months. Went to take a picture the other day and the camera is on video mode. Nothing I do will change this. The "mode" button does not appear. I'm sure it is something stupid I am missing or something changed since the recent update but I cannot find any similar issues in forums online. Help please.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist after a reboot? How about going to the App Manager, selecting the Camera app, and clearing cache/data?

I have the exact same problem S7, Andriod 9.0
Stuck in video and no MODE button to get out.

Rebooting and retarting app and/or phone doesn't work.

I own an S7 and there is no mode button, never was to my memory. I've got a large circle for photos, small red circle by it for record.

You could try clearing the camera app cache. May fix it if it's a software glitch.

Thanks....it does work but somehow my nice user friendly icons of still picture vs video camera are gone....so it goes I guess...some magic swipe pattern must have happened in my pocket.
