Galaxy s7 Charging issues

Hello there,

I have an s7 that wont switch on or charge. Occasionally, i get the red charging light. I Have tried wirelessley charging too, but too no avail.

I can get a bit of power into it, the Samsung screen loads up for a second and just loops. When i remove the cable, it goes dead. Strangely, the only time that the screen stays on is when I put it into download mode, The pc will not recognize it at all. I have tried all manner of re-sets, but non work,

I would be eternally grateful for any info or help that you can give!

Welcome to Android Central! Most likely, the battery is dead. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop to replace the battery (or, if you want to try yourself, there are DIY videos on YouTube).

Or first, plug the charger in and leave it plugged in for about 4 hours. (The first few minutes, more than a few if the battery is totally discharged, isn't charging the battery.)

Oh, and download mode takes a lot less power than normal mode.
