Galaxy S7 Issues With WiFi when Bluetooth is on

I have this issue as well. Unfortunatly I do not have the Dunkin Donuts App installed.

How can you tell which apps have Bluetooth permissions? I searched the privacy settings and Bluetooth is not an option.

I thankfully found this thread earlier this week and have been turning off Bluetooth when at home to get my wifi working, but leave Bluetooth on the rest of the time. Anyway, to add to this insanity, I tried using the hotspot functionality of my S7 (Verizon) today for the first time. It didn't work.

It looks like Bluetooth also interferes with my tablet connecting to my S7 hotspot. Couldn't connect at first, then I turned Bluetooth off on the phone, and it connected right away. I came back here to share the hotspot info and read up on the Dunkin Donuts app, which I had installed on my phone from day one. I uninstalled the app today and my hotspot worked right away, even with Bluetooth on. Going home and connecting to my wifi with Bluetooth on will be the real test, but thanks to whoever posted about DD.

I just wanted to add my experience with this issue here in the hopes that Samsung will see this and release a firmware update.
In my case I have an ASUS RT-N66U operating on both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. I also have an ASUS RT-N12D1 which acts as a WiFi extender (2.4Ghz only).
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
When I first noticed these issues, I took the phone back to BestBuy and they swapped out the SIM card, telling me that this will fix the issue. It didn't and when I tried to exchange the phone the following day, they were all ouf of S7 Edges.
I also discovered that the phone's WiFi was working fine when I was at my office.
So... after trying numerous things, I eventually segmented my 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz under different SSIDs. I was able to connect and stay connected to the 5Ghz one. But had no luck with 2.4Ghz until I read this thread and turned off BlueTooth. Sure enough the phone's Wifi works fine on both freqs with Bluetooth off. Once I turn Bluetooth back on the phone goes into a connect/disconnect loop.

I guess I can try to make it a point to remember to turn my Bluetooth on when I'm in my car, but eventually I'd like to not have to worry about this. I hope Samsung issues a firmware update soon.

Remove your 3rd party apps that have Bluetooth permissions. When I removed the Jets app it resolved the issue. Something you installed is not fully compatible with Android 6.0

VZ, Still seemed to be doing the same thing but will test again once I get home. During that time the guest network was bouncing around at my office so it wasn't a fair test.

I have been following this thread ever since encountering the WiFi problem. Like others I found turning off the bluetooth fixed it. I also fall into the category of those with the DD app. With bluetooth off I was getting good results with speedtest. Turned bluetooth on and WiFi crapped out again. I then force stopped the DD app and again got good results. Weird thing is I started the DD app again with bluetooh on and it continues to work good. Not sure it will last though.

Not to derail the discussion here, but has anyone narrowed this issue to certain carriers or is this affecting all carriers?

I haven't had any wifi/bt performance issues on my S7 on TMo. I know 2 other TMo S7 owners who also aren't experiencing this issue. Nevertheless, concerned for all you who are impacted.

At&t update today did not fix this issue. Came home, connected to Wi-Fi, & slow as a snail's crawl. Turn Bluetooth off, & all is right with the world. I'm just not sure who's at fault here. It might just be one of those bugs we are gonna have to deal with.

I've been following this thread since last weekend when i bought a verizon gs7. I've been having the same problems and didn't have the dunkin donuts app either. When i bought the phone last friday i was upgrading from a gs4 and used the cable to connect the 2 phones to transfer apps and data. Tonight i swapped in the reg model for an edge model. I didn't do any transfer like the first time and restored everything from the cloud. Surprisingly my wifi now works with bluetooth turned on. So far i have re-downloaded these apps and still have working wifi: amex mobile, chase mobile, uber, life reminders and android auto. I hope this info helps. I'm on a uverse internet connection with at&t's equipment

The updates everyone has been receiving is only the monthly Security update. Nothing to do with any fixes or actual software update.

A bunch of my apps updated today and the problem seems to have disappeared. I guess only time will tell for sure.

Thank you for posting! This seems to be my wifi issue as well with the S7. I was about to return the phone.

Mine was the Touchtones app. Still getting less download speed when connected to a Bluetooth device. When not connected I get full speed with bluetooth and wifi still on.
