Galaxy S7 Message failed to send error with every text. Even after factory reset!

I did a software update this morning, and after the install, every text I sent would give me a message failed to send. However, my recipients are receiving them, and I can receive as well. I just get the error message. After exhausting all solutions I found on the web, including wiping the cache partition, etc. I said, "screw it" and did a factory reset, since the phone was new. Now I'm still getting the error shortly after every sent message! Any ideas?

I'm getting frustrated at this point. I just came back to Android recently after a 3+ year stint with Apple, and I can say at least Apple doesn't screw up the most basic of the phone's functions with their updates.

Yes, that is when I made the decision to do the factory reset. I've had the phone a little over a month, and it worked great up until this. I downloaded Textra and tried it with the exact same result. I can send and receive, but get the error message.

Apparently this is the way it is with Nougat and unlocked Samsung devices. Absolutely inexusable! I'm going to try and revert back to Marshmallow.

The S7 with Nougat is known to have problems. Yours is just another one in the list. At least the phone works. Some problems cause the phone to not work, or wifi to not work, or something else that's serious.

But that's not Android, that's the S7 on Nougat. See [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN. You can't "revert" Android versions, but you can flash Marshmallow to the phone if you can find an image file. Try Download Stock Firmware For Samsung Galaxy S7 (All variants)
