galaxy s7 nougat europe

Anyone that did get the update but now?

I'm still waiting for it though....

Well at least I know I'm not the only only one.

That would suck big time.. my first samsung since a few years and than they **** it up right away lol.

I seriously thought samsung was doing quite well, but I think it's just super lame how they let customers down even though they paid hundreds of euros to get a 'high end samsung'

A norwegian tech site claims that the update is delayed until late february or early march :/
https://www.tek.no/artikler/samsung-har-problemer-med-nougat-oppdateringen-sin/376108

take that with a grain of salt. I also didn't expect it to arrive after all these sites claiming delays but I just checked for updates the other day and saw a 1GB update ready to be downloaded and that was Nougat. Mind you, I live in Dubai and we usually get these updates the last so it should be very soon for Europe as we usually get the same Europe update versions

That must have been a great surprise :)

And do you like what you have seen on nougat?

In the UK with an non-carrier branded S7 (bought from Carphone Warehouse) and still wait for the update.

I keep staking Sam Mobile and hope it drops soon.

What is odd is Samsung is still rolling out 6.0.1 while starting 7.0 so that might explain any delays?

I also bought my S7 from Carphone Warehouse - I managed to sign up for the beta testing programme late last year so I now have the release version of Nougat. I can't imagine it will be long before it is rolled out to other phones here. You could flash it if you're impatient - it's pretty easy using Odin. The firmware should be available on the sammobile and xda sites.

BTU s7 in uk has it. No carriers that I know of have it yet.

I recently used Odin to flash a new csc on my s7 so that I can now get BTU updates.

Also had an update since I flashed it.

Yes, I had to flash my S7 with Marshmallow BTU back in December to participate in the beta programme. Phones supplied unlocked from Samsung in the UK have the BTU firmware, the ones from elsewhere like CPW have an XEU variant.

Never flashed a android device and it looks more difficult than jailbreaking an iphone thats why i'll wait for the official release...yeah i might wait a while for it...
