Hi guys

Long time iPhone user here looking to upgrade my current handset. I was planning on buying the iPhone 7 before it was announced, but Apple changing from sRGB to the Wide Color space has put me off. Photography is my hobby and I use Canon and Fujifilm cameras and have my monitor calibrated to the sRGB colour space.

I love how far mobile phones has come over the past few years, especially in the camera department, and my phone camera is actually most used tool for taking photos.

So, only wanting to work in the sRGB space, I am looking for an alternative to iPhone. I'm currently looking at the Galaxy S7 (not the Edge version). I see from reviews that that camera is excellent, but what I can't find is information on what colour space its camera saves photos and videos in. I have read about Samsung introducing alternative spaces like Apple has, but can't find specifically what devices.

Would appreciate if someone would kindly answer my query.

Ta.

No answer to you, but I find it interesting that the camera also has something to do with it. My printer is a CYMK machine so I do stuff on Corel in CYMK.

Just checked one of my photos from my S7e in bridge and here's what it reports.

Color mode RGB
Color profile sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1

Hope this helps.
