Galaxy S8 Headphone Jack?

Well, no high quality DAC in the LG g6 in the US anyway. Looks like even LG believes only the Asian markets really care about that.

So, Samsung is using a hi-fi DAC in the latest Tab and that may or may not make its way into the SO.

I use headphones and Bluetooth so I hope it does. I also charge my phone while I sit down for a conference call.

I'd rather have another speaker at the bottom instead of head phone jack. Proper stereo sound!!?

I hope they leave it in. Those who want higher quality/high res audio can always use USB C and an external DAC, but the headphone jack is just so convenient for aux jacks in people's cars, staying in hotels, etc. IMO it's still a very useful port even if it isn't strictly necessary.

I agree. I only use either the speakers or Bluetooth.
