Just noticed there is a update available on my Samsung S8 plus. Not sure if it is OREO. Was going to wait until this weekend to do it . Any ideas.

I have noticed on my Verizon S8 that they are not working. Loaded the update last night and haven't seen an icon badge yet..... All else seems fast and smooth.

Having the same issue. Found anything besides getting a different launcher to fix this? Such a pain that I can't see how many emails or WhatsApp messages are unread once you swipe them away in the notification panel.

Try wiping the cache partition and also reset cache for the Samsung Home launcher, that might fix the issue.

Any idea how to do what you suggested? Also I'm not sure it will help as it seems Samsung made this feature purposely

Well my comment was in reference to the first question about not receiving notification badges. Unfortunately, the "issue" about notification dots/count being cleared after swiping it from the notification drop down is a known change and you'll need to resort to 3rd party launchers to achieve what you're looking for.

Samsung DID make this change but I was told yesterday by a "Samsung Care Pro" that it was not intentional and the next update it will be corrected. No exact time frame.
Who made that decision????

Updated. ATT. No change that I can tell except maybe a little worst battery life.

Anyone else having Bluetooth issues since the Oreo update? I'm on a S8+ and my Bluetooth connection constantly drops since the update. I use Bose wireless headsets and my customers are starting to get annoyed when they suddenly can't hear me or me them. I either have to go into Settings and force them to reconnect or I have to power cycle my headsets and they'll reconnect automatically.
