Galaxy S8+ Thru AT&T not recieving certain texts

[Android Central Question]

Certain people in my contacts, approx 7 that I know of, receive my texts but I am unable to see their's. Doesn't seem to be phone specific as some of them have iPhones and others Android.

Welcome to Android Central! Is this with simple SMS messages (i.e., message threads between two people only) or with group texts?
