Galaxy s8 tiny white bars at the bottom and top of the screen

I have a samsung galaxy s8 and noticed small white bars at the bottom and top of the screen while in lockscreen or homescreen.
The can be seen in the image below:

My question is how to disable them?

that's for apps edge. swipe it. you can also change location, size and transparency.

it's a very handy feature.

Here is referring to the lines at the top and bottom of the screen, not the one on the side.

I believe this is due to the wallpaper you are using. When setting the wallpaper, try a slight pinch to zoom and see if the lines disappear or of course try another wallpaper completely different and see if they are still there.
