Galaxy S9 doesn't support videos transferred from Xiaomi

I just bought Galaxy S9. I had Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 before.
I used Smart Switch to transfer files from my Xiaomi to the Galaxy S9.
All the files transferred successfully, except for ALL the video files I recorded with the Xiaomi
I check the format of the videos and it's MP4.
Please help

Try sending them via Bluetooth or WiFi Direct, or copy them to a computer and then transfer them. Not sure why Smart Switch didn't transfer those, but the format should definitely be supported (maybe they are in a protected folder or hidden for 3rd party apps or secured under password?).

If it doesn't work, try using VLC for Android to play them.

Don't use the Samsung Gallery app as a barometer for whether a video is working or not. Like suggested, try VLC or another 3rd party video app to play the files.

MP4 is just a container. Anything can be inside.
