Galaxy S9... worth it?

Back in the day, I used to be a Samsung guy. I had the Galaxy Express prepaid for ATT, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S5. The GS5 was the best phone I've ever had and had that from 2015-2017. I then last year "upgraded" to the LG G6. Regretted it ever since. Now recently, I picked up the LG V30. It's a pretty good phone I suppose, but a hefty purchase for 700 dollars... It really just feels like my G6 but slightly upgraded. I'm not really entirely sure if I'm sold on it out not. My next guess purchase I would have to say is probably the S9. One thing I really miss is the quality of samsung's displays. My GS5 being 4 years old now and worn out had a better color tone to it than the one year old G6. Not really a fan of how the V30 doesn't even have Oreo yet and I probably won't receive anymore updates after that.

Any opinions? I really wanted the S8+ since it was for the same price as the V30.. 700 on T-mobile but apparently not available anymore. Would the S9 be a better purchase than the V30?

I jumped from G6 to S9. Sounds like I enjoyed the G6 more than you...but I'm not regretting the move. Love the S9. Was against the curved screen...but not anymore. This phone is damn sexy!

I love my S9+. I've had S5 and S7 (I felt like the S7 was better than the S5). Had a brief stint with the Pixel 2 XL but traded it for the S9+. You'll love it

I really actually wanted the Note 8, but recently T-Mobile jumped the price from 870 back up to 950 which is absolutely ridiculous.

I did the jump... but I went the note 8 route. dont regret it one bit.
