Galaxy Tab A Bluetooth Issues

A

AC Question

I connect my Tab A to a Bluetooth speaker every day at work. Today, it would not work. I tried cycling power on the tablet and the speaker. I tried trying to re-pair the devices. The Tab A says that there are no devices visible. The speaker is an Oontz Angle. I paired them just yesterday.

*Possibly important note: I had to restart my Tab A after what I thought was a screen glitch earlier today. This was after my initial attempt to pair the devices. I am wondering if there was an update that failed for Bluetooth or something.

Welcome to the forum. First thing I would do is isolate which device is not responding, try to pair speaker with another device, same with tablet. Once you know that you should be able to isolate the cause. Also, sure there isn't something new at work that may be interfering with BT? I would quiz your IT department.

I'm wondering if you found a solution to this problem. I have a generic BT keyboard that works faultlessly with each of my other Android devices except the tab 8a. Are there any well known problems / solutions with this Device?
