Galaxy tab getting Honeycomb?

It is not to hard. You have the T-Mobile tab right. I have the same one. It is fairly easy once you get clockworkmod on it. Flashing a kernel is super easy w/ heimdall. Just hit me up and I will help you out. I put a kernel and rom on mine gonna put gingerbread on it once it is stable and I am about to put froyo on my nook gonna wait a little bit for honeycomb. Once the system dump happens it will be much better for the nook.

Are you sure about that. There is a gingerbread rom for the vzw tab over on xda. I would bet that once the system dump happens someone will be all over it. Those guys over there live for stuff. No is doing it right now, just give them sometime. I bet once the system dump happens it will be about week and you should see roms start to pop up.

Where did this XDA thread go? I've been searching for it, but can't, for the life of me, find it any more.

I was referring to the thread you brought up earlier. It was titled something like "VZW... Gingerbread..... " or something. But I can't find it any more.

So no ones a little upset the 7" tablet seems to be unmentioned for Samsung? I know I was looking forward to it. The 10.1" has got to cost as much as the Zoom. Anyone have info on a 7" model?

Exactly! So where's it at? Think they tossed it out for the 10.1"? I havent seen hide nor hair of it!

I just got word from cousin who is an engineer Dell said they are going to launch a 10" HC tab as well in June. They also said that the 7" streak should be getting HC as well, so let's hope the streak officially get HC as that might force samsung to give us HC.

There are bounties out for it and I'm sure people are hard working at it. I guess Sammy has it locked down pretty good. Hopefully not good enough, but as time passes and the device gets older I loose hope. I hope dev doesn't stop.

I agree that is the NC can port it so can the GT. I have a NC and put honeycomb on it and it worked well. When there is a system dump it will be even better and I know the devs over at xda will cook something up.
