Galaxy Tab no service

I need help. My tab screen has been showing a red triangle for the last two weeks. The drop down screen showed that I had moved out of range or something. I had been sitting in the same spot. On yesterday, the tab just stopped working and showed No Service on screen. I tried to reboot but the Home button would not work. Yesterday, Verizon CSR and I tried to wipe it. I don't know if this worked, because all of my apps came back up today all on its own. The Home button just started working today, but screen still showing No Service. Any ideas
 
if your tab is synced with your google account it will reload all your apps, if its connected to a network wifi/3g. did you do a factory reset? E.G hold volume up/power button until samsung screen and select wipe data?
