I bought one less than a week ago and tried to get the price difference and they told me they had to send it to a supervisor and I would know by tomorrow. I have been with Verizon for over 15 years and over the last few years their customer service is going downhill! I think they are loosing touch with customer service.

I got one for 20 bucks also. They had a 50 off promotion for existing customers adding a line. I'm excited as this is my first andriod tablet. I wish I had the change to drop on the newer one coming out or the xoom. But at the price paid. I am happy

I got mine yesterday, and activated it this morning. WOW this looks and acts like my Samsung Mesmerize, (A Galaxy S phone from USCC) except it has 7" screen!!! And it's is faster than my phone.

The tab is super awesome especially since I bought it for the $20 pricepoint. did I mention angry birds on a 7 inch screen is awesome

Vzw says with two year contract... I thought it was just wireless? ....why would I need a contract?

Isn't this for a 2-year contract though, and with the cheapest plan you end up paying $720 over 2 years so why not buy it full price?

I dunno about you, but I like having the option to have 3g. I mean, I do have wifi at the house and at my work for the most part, but there's times I use it to play music when Im driving, gps and what not. I do travel sometimes and not every place has free wifi.

Today the $79 deal for the refurb is back on as an add-a-line. I wanted to use it to upgrade a smartphone I have on a second line so I called to check. I was told that I couldn't get the deal but the CS rep told me that I would have to pay a $35 act fee to get that deal and that if I went ahead and upgraded the existing line I wouldn't have to pay act fee. She also said that if I did the upgrade she would give me a $15 discount making the $129 tab effectively a $79 deal. She waited on line as I placed the order and told me at the end she had added the discount. I just love VZW CS and their reps. It is great that the company gives the reps the ability to make deals like this happen.
