Question What browsers don't have tab discarding?

Samsung Internet often refreshes tabs when I return to them from another tab or app even if I only have 1 tab. I've read Chrome, Edge and Firefox do too.

I can't see anything related to tab discarding in internet://flags. chrome://flags gives an error.
I was seeing if you are the typical 1 post pony on the forum and never responds again.

The old flag. No guarantees. Try:

Tab Freezing Uses Discard - Disabled
Load all tabs at startup - Disabled
Archive all tabs except active - Disabled
Enable Background Compaction - Disabled
Enable Running Compaction - Disabled

Otherwise there are other Chrome browsers that constantly change their options but are solid;

Vivaldi - Very Chrome like in that it has options, syncing. Average ad blocking. Memory heavy.

Cromite - Security focused. Also has built in userscript and decent ad blocking. Constantly updated.

Avoid:
Kiwi - Dead
Brave - Crypto junk built in. Phones home constantly (I watched the network traffic while using it).

Firefox, tons of control thanks to extensions but very heavy, slow comparatively.

Welcome to AC!
I use chrome and my tabs don't automatically refresh, try locking the app to the recent apps list or give the app unrestricted battery and see what happens, mine set to optimize under battery.
