Galaxy Tab s3 screen partially faded and then went permanently black.

Good morning. New guy here, I tried to search, but couldn't find anything specifically related to the Tab S3. I was using my Tab this morning, then 1/2 the screen dimmed and the font was distorted. A couple of minutes later, the entire screen dimmed and went black. Now the screen will not come back on. The app and return lights light up (beside the home button), the fingerprint scanner reads my prints, but the screen won't come on. What happened?

I had the same issue on my new Tab S3 at about day 28 of ownership. The screen flickered a couple of times, and then it went black and green and was totally unresponsive to any troubleshooting. Samsung had me send it in for repair...almost 7 weeks later and they've told me I'm approved for an exchange, but no update on when I'll see it. Not a lot of love for Samsung's Customer Support right now.

I see this post is a few weeks old...any luck?
