Does anyone know what size aftermarket band will fit 20mm or 22m ? I can't find it written anywhere

I haven't gotten my watch yet but I did buy a silicone band off Amazon that was labelled as compatible with the 46 mm GW4. It's 20 mm.

But yeah, I guess the pic pretty much settles this.

The switch to a 20mm band is a little upsetting. 20mm bags don't seem to have as many great options. I suspect that may change somewhat after the tallest of the watch 4, but I had found a great 22mm stainless band that requires no tools to even change the length. Not that anyone needs to change the length often, but the mechanism is within the center link so you don't see the holes for the pins on either side. I haven't found a 20mm band with this type of feature. Plus, the wider band simply looks better.

I am with you on this, the 22mm bands do look better. The Galaxy watch 4 is slightly thinner around where the band connects to the watch body which does help a bit.
I am pleased that I managed to adapt my 22mm black stainless band to fit the new watch as I really like the look of it.

As you can see in the pic against the original Galaxy Watch 46mm the watch 4 does look less chunky.

2nd Day with this watch and for those who have the Older Galaxy watch, the Galaxy 4 I battery s dissapointing....
I used to get 4-5 days when I initially got my Galaxy watch, 2 years later I get about 3 days. And now this brand new Galaxy 4 last about 2 days ...

Which means in a few years it will last maybe a day?

Samsung are really going backwards or intentionally copying Apple.

Really Dissapointed with this watch....

Do you think you will end up returning it? 99% of the time, this will be a non-factor for me, because I charge mine every night, but it sounds like I will have to be mindful of the battery when I haven't the whole time I've had my original Galaxy Watch.

Did you not read any reviews? Or the specs from Samsung? They were pretty upfront about the battery...

I'm really not that bothered about battery life on the Watch 4. There is no hiding Wear OS is going to drain faster but we have chargers/powerbanks so unless the world dries up of electricity then no bother.

I've used 30% since this time yesterday and that's still playing around some. The watch is still learning usage patterns to optimise and I am expecting at least as good as my last watch.

I'm not what you would call a heavy user, maybe in the middle but I'm happy with it so far.

Have folks already gotten the GW4? I pre-ordered, expedited, here in US and it's not shipped yet.

I read people are already getting it elsewhere but not in the US but I am not a 100% sure someone told me that on the Samsung Community. I wake up every morning and charge my watch while I wake up and drink my coffee then get ready for work so I'm good to go. I charge every day anyway. Today it was on 53 when I woke up.

Pretty much the same. I wear the GW3 to bed every night and the go on a morning run (which, with music, bluetooth connection, and LTE takes it down to like 60%. And then I just charge it for 45 minutes or so at my desk at work, and I'm pretty much good to go. Also, with wireless PowerShare, battery life has become a bit less of an issue.

All that said, I can see why someone would be disappointed with the reduced battery life of newer Galaxy Watches. You can't just plug a smartwatch into a charger like with a phone, so longer life is important.

Still got my old Galaxy Watch,, might keep the 4.
Trying to see what the advantage of keeping it. Got the Fold 3, and overall dissapointing.
I've got a feeling Alot more will be Dissapointed too.

Please elaborate on the fold 3. I don't think I would really want just because when folded, it's much thicker to have in your pocket, but curious as to your findings.

well I'm the original poster I have a Galaxy watch original and today I looked at the Galaxy watch 4 classic... I think I'm going to wait it out another year.
