Galaxy watch 4 classic 46 mm

The metal strap works well after the adjustments,
I also tried the included band and to be fair I like that also. Most of the silicone/rubber bands that I used on the original Galaxy watch made my wrist itch and I had to take the watch off for a while but with this new band it's been great. It feels different to the other bands I've used.

I bought a Fullmosa 20 mm stainless steel band from Amazon. It's slightly too wide. This is upsetting. I recall having a similar issue with a black ceramic band when I had the Gear S2 years ago and had to grind the ceramic down a tad. Not gonna do that. I still have a 20 mm stainless band from when I had the GS2 but it has a butterfly clasp, which I didn't care for. I'll use it temporarily while I figure things out. I might still have the leather bands from the GS2 in a box somewhere. Maybe I'll rock that for a bit.

To each his own regarding size… I am a bit of a watch collector (Swiss watches), and I am a big guy (6 2, 225). I typically buy 45mm watches and never smaller than 40mm.

Like with any watch, I advise people to go try the watch on first (they are at Best Buy already). It also depends on where you want to wear it. I think the GW4 is big enough but just the right size to fit under a dress shirt sleeve. I have BIG watches for when I want to be manly… my 24 hr Breitling military watch has taken out chunks of wall when I accidentally walk by…

My husband actually likes the black sport band that came with his. He will use it for now.

I like mine too. I guess it's a good thing, because I noticed this morning the other bands for GW4 are all gone except that ugly sport band. I want to get the hybrid leather, but jeebus, it's $50. It wasn't listed this morning, so Samsung must be out of stock. I guess next time they're listed, I'd better suck it up and pay for it.

We're getting the $50 in accessory credit so my husband could get it then. I just thought the black leather would look nice with the classic and when he ordered he only had the sport band option the others went away. But he may get the leather later on just to use up his credit cause their is nothing else we really need.

I was forced to select from certain items the night I pre-ordered. Perhaps there was a way around it, but it didn't seem as if the new accessory bands were part of the deal. From the list they offered, the duo charger was the only item I really had any use for.

That's weird cause I am almost sure that's how it was for me but when I ordered for my husband the next day it said or get $50 credit for later. And I called and was told to just cancel the accessory I ordered cause it was a powerbank that I already had but didn't need really anything else. So I canceled just the powerbank and not the watch and they said I would still qualify for $50 later.

Turns out I had to cancel the watch and re-order to get a different color band to get it sooner and than I got an email about the $50 to use 35 days after having watch. So maybe for some people it was now only cause if I had seen you can get $50 for later I would not of ordered the power bank. I was going to try and sell it LOL!

Same! Except I got the trio charger since I've already got the duo. @Rose4uKY were you able to get watch bands with the $50 credit? When I was ordering, the website asked if I wanted to get a watch band, but it wouldn't let me use my credit towards it.

No when I 1st went to order it gave me a choice of 4 bands to pick from when ordering but I never ordered and than the next day it changed to you only got the sport band the leather band and others went away. Guess the sold out or they didn't mean to give you an option of the other ones I don't know. But at 1st it told me I had to pick from something right away and no their wasn't bands. But when my husband ordered he had the option to save his $50 for later and I got that same deal when I cancelled and re-ordered.

I guess I got lucky. I had a huge choice of bands when I pre-ordered mine and got the Black/Red sports band and LOVE IT.

The choices were there, we just couldn't apply the $50 savings towards any of the bands. Samsung may have changed it at some point. I wasn't ready to drop another $50 on one band (ridiculous price) so I just told myself is get one later.

But now the website is out of stock and I just did a chat asking when they anticipated getting more and they have no clue. I did find some on ebay. Now, hear me out, the images the seller shows (from China) look exactly like the OEM Samsung bands. My hope is that these are the same ones from the manufacturer that are dirt cheap by comparison because they're not officially branded. I've seen this happen before. I ordered the hybrid leather and 2 additional colors of the sport ridge (that comes with the GW4 Classic). Once I get them in, if they end up being legit, I can share the info with anyone who's interested. The hybrid leather was less than $10 and is even shaped with the cutout by the pins to fill in that area between the case and watch band (which I prefer). Same as the ridge bands.

Odd because I didn't have to apply a discount to get the band, it was included. I did use the $50 discount to get the Buds 2 though.

Just to be clear, I could have ordered the band, but I had an instant $50 savings that I wanted to use to get the band essentially for free. But Samsung only showed a select number of products to choose from to use the $50 and none of the bands were an option. I ended up choosing the duo charger.

Ah, odd. It's kinda flakey when they can't get the promotions right for everyone. I just know that the price I got with all the discounts and all that, made it a no brainer to get the watch this time around.

I got the Watch 4 Classic 46mm - Non LTE, Buds 2 and the black/red band all for $227.

I traded my Watch 3 ($185 Trade credit) and use the $50 discount to get the Buds 2 and also had my Military Discount in there too, which didn't save a TON, but every penny is appreciated!! :D

Nice, you definitely know how to get a good bargain!

I traded my OG Galaxy Watch but only got $100 credit (fair in my opinion) and then tried to change my order from black 46mm Classic to the silver, but my cancel button disappeared. The rep offered 10% off if I kept the one I ordered so I took the bait. Ended up paying $287 total and got the watch plus duo charger. Not to bad.

Got mine yesterday, really liking it except for the battery so far. I'm used to my watch 3 getting over 2 days, granted that is the Bluetooth model but still.

So usually pull my watch 3 off the charger at 4am and when I go to bed at 9pm it's usually at 78%. I pulled the watch 4 off the charger at 4am this morning and it's 5pm now and it's at 65%.

So I guess as long as it continues this and I can make it through a day then I will be good . Like I said this is the only thing that somewhat concerns me at the moment.

Give it time. The battery has to learn you- Actually says somewhere - I think on the Wear app. Mine was like that for the 1st week or so. It has since greatly improved.
