Hello all! Long time since I have been back. :(

My wife and I have the Galaxy Watch 4. I have the Classic and she has the smaller one.

We BOTH have this issue and I have not been able to find anything about it and hope folks here can help.

At least 3 top 4 times a week, we have to open the Wear App, go to Watch Settings > Display and turn ON some of the following settings (it changes on which ones we have to re-enable):

Raise write to wake
Touch screen to wake
Turn bezel to wake

It's frustrating that one or more of these settings keep turning off for no apparent reason.

Anyone else have this issue and most importantly, anyone solve this one? We have the latest phone and watch updates installed, no rooting or anything of that nature. All stock.

Also, if this helps, I have the S23U and she has the S22U.

Thanks all!

I have a Watch 4 and it's the least problematic one I've had.

If both are doing it see what settings, routines, apps, they have in common. Sounds like automation of some sort. I stopped checking but did it get an update recently?

Looking at the Wear app, the last update was installed on Dec 25, 2024, so nothing recent.

I have noticed this on my watch for a while, but the wife started seeing it on her watch a couple months ago.

The only routines we have are for our Google Smart Home stuff (lights, thermostat and a few other things) and none of our automations do anything with the watches.

I agree that this has been the least problematic watch I have had in a VERY long time, so this is more of an annoyance. I may reset it and see if that helps, but I need to take the time and not be lazy and just do it. :P

Thanks for the response, I'll update if I manage to find anything.

Well, almost a week and no issues, so I think this did it! Thanks!
Yay! That's great news. You are very welcome.

I clear the cache any time my Watch 6 Classic starts acting up. A little cumbersome, but it usually works.

I'll keep my virtual fingers crossed for continued positive results.
