Galaxy Watch issue

[Android Central Question]

Galaxy watch will not notify when its ringtone is set to vibrate while the notification sound and vibrate are set to on. I've restarted both the watch and phone.
Is this a glitch or will I have to set the ringtone to a sound for notifications to work?
