My galaxy watch will discover other networks but won't discover my wifi network or my phone's hotspot. So wifi detection is working but just won't find mine

It is not a 4g/LTE watch but my phone company is Optus and my internet is through Southern Phone Company. I am in Australia

Yeah sorry I should have mentioned all that. I have reboot the router, restarted the watch and done a factory reset on the watch. Still the same. Will show certain WiFi networks but not mine. I have even tried to manually add my network through the add network. Still says can't find my network. Very weird when all other device in my home connect without a problem

Thanks , what kind of Galaxy watch is this ?

Sorry I thought youeant in the app. There is no sync phone setting option on the actual watch. Only on the app can I find this option

I just went through every menu and submenu on the watch. In the about phone under the wifi it read wifi Mac address. Don't know if that has anything to do with anything

What happens is it connect to your phone wifi you used before

This is all I can come up with , might let a Mod move this to a Samsung watch forum for better visibility

Another thought - do you have SSID enabled on your router? And do you have 2.4GHz enabled?
