Gallery lag / jitter

I am experiencing a major gallery lag now with my s7 active on AT&T. I have a 64G SD card installed and about 16G used. I've owned the phone about 6 months now and it was perfect until now. Any suggestions?

Try removing the card and see if it still lags. Also, what is the read/write speed of the card?

Try clearing the cache of the gallery app. As requested above, let us know the class SD card you have as well as the brand.

I have the same problem...I got a GS7 (AT&T) recently, added a SanDisk 128mb card and am only using 10 mb. When I open Gallery it takes a long time for the pictures to load, if they load at all. The picture tiles are grayed out and load very slowly, sometimes stopping. Unacceptable, switching phone brands next go-around.

Maby it's the type of SD card you added that's created the problem
