Gallery or Google photos?

Use Google and One drive as backup. Like google since can also find my picks from chrome browser on laptop as well.

Google photos is a no brainer for me on any phone or any platform. No app or service comes close to Google photos.

I also use OneDrive and Amazon photos as redundant backups. Gallery app from Samsung may be once in a while I may use to edit pictures or so but I can be fine without that app completely.

Yes, I use camera upload in OneDrive where I have 1TB of space and my photos get uploaded as soon as I take them. I don't store anything in my Google account.

I wish that I had 1TB of space there though lol. Gallery works just fine for me because of the edits as someone mentioned.

It's $6.99/month with my Office 365. Pretty good deal. I also save all my photos to my SD card so I have in two places. Gallery doesn't actually store your photos.

I use Gallery, and upload what I want to Amazon Photos for permanent storage. I have photos stored to SD Card but most phone pics are of food or random things, not necessarily stuff I care to keep forever.

That's smart to do it both ways. I prefer the Gallery for viewing but like you, I use OneDrive for camera upload.

I use Google Photos for (unlimited) "High Quality" backup, as well as OneDrive for full-res pics (part of my Office 365 subscription.)
