Android Central Question
I just switched from an old S5 to the S9+ and I love almost everything about it except...
In my Gallery app, I used to be able to view an image in full screen mode, and when I tap on it, a scroll of thumbnails would appear below of all pictures before and after the one I was viewing in full screen. Then I could hold down and select images directly from those small thumbnails, while still viewing and swiping through images in full screen mode. This way, I could scroll through and see which pictures I like in full screen and select multiple ones for sharing at the same time. This doesn't seem to be available in the new version of the Gallery app, which is super frustrating. Now when I scroll through pics in full screen, I am forced to exit full screen mode in order to hold down and select an image for sharing or whatever, and then I can't scroll through the rest of the images in full screen, but I need to individually enlarge them to view and then minimize them to select. It seems unnecessarily laborious, especially considering that a much better option was available on a much older version of the app. I don't know if I just need to turn on some setting on my app/phone, but I've looked high and low for answers and I have not found any. I also tried virtually every other gallery app out there and none seem to have this option. It's so strange! Can anyone help with suggestions/fixes?
