Game performance?

I've just got my Nexus 6 today and fired up a few games. Riptide GP2, Beach Buggy Racing etc and find that at full resolution settings they can be pretty choppy which surprised me in such a high end piece of hardware. Has anyone else found this?

Does anyone else have any game recommendations to show off the Nexus 6 too while I'm at it

Got to wait until games are fully optimized for lollipop (ART) and the new hardware
