Game plan for purchase since there is no pre-order...

Since we haven't heard word of preorders I have the day off so will be camping that morning at my local VZW store. Hopefully my friend can set one aside but where I live here I don't see that big of a line before they open LOL.

Opening kickoff of NFL that night too. Not thrilled about getting home from work at 6 and trying to get this all sorted out in time to watch TNF.

No Costco membership (apparently I chose wrong in Sam's) so might have to call my Dad and have him let me in under his membership if I want to check out that deal (will appreciate the posts during the day informing me if its worth it). Otherwise I will head to VZW and fight the masses.

Since i'm a die hard Packers fan there's no way I want to deal with this after work. I will probably step out at noon and pick it up. I have a choice of Best Buy or Verizon which are across the highway from each other.

I hope I can order this online on the 7th at midnight for overnight delivery, possibly directly to my office, that way I won't need to take an personal day or use my discretionary time... Unless I got "sick" haha. nah i hate going to the store, online would be great.

Ya, I just called to try and preorder and after about 10 minutes of checking different options the lady said she couldn't do it. But, what she did do is tell me that SHE will place a note and call me first thing thursday when she comes in to work and get it ordered and overnight it for me. =)

the exact same thing happened to me ... I also asked more about preorders though and the lady said it could change at any moment so hopefully I can preorder maybe Monday or something I just hate going into the store

Sadly, you're probably right. Moto wouldn't have anything to do with a pre-order on VZW, so, we shouldn't be getting our hopes up.

Damn, I hope you guys are wrong, I don't care about the stupid ARena app. I'll do it, but I don't think any "real bionic" people really care about it. They'll probably try it out, but not go crazy about it and enter a billion times.

Believe me, I hope I'm wrong more than anyone! But I just don't see moto announcing a VZW pre-order. It makes no sense. So I'm guessing we aren't getting a pre-order and that we'll all be waiting until the 8th to get one. After 9 months, I guess another week isn't so bad in comparison. sigh.
