Every time I try to play games on Gameloft Live, I lose connectivity after 5 minutes or so. My WiFi is still connected, and I have no idea why this happens every time I try to play.....I have an EVO 3D, rooted and running CleanROM 2.7, I don't think that is related, but I thought I would mention it. Every time it happens, I get a message saying that the server failed to respond in time. Anybody had else had this problem?

Me too! I haven't been able to completely download two new Gameloft games, or connect to Gameloft Live on my other Gameloft games, for a week now. When I try an connect to Gameloft Live, the connection times out. And when I try and download the two new games that I purchased from them, I get server errors. When I connect and try to start downloading one of the games, after some time passes, the downloads fail. I get an error message saying something to the effect that the server is not connecting. So then I have to restart the download, which will fail again after some more time goes by. And if I spend hours resetting the download and I make it to over 300MBs worth of the game download, the server errors reset any downloading gains, each time I get disconnected. So if I download 330MBs and the server fails, then the download goes back to 300MBs again. So I have not been able to download a whole game at all this week. The issue just showed up this week and I have never had the problem before. I think the downloading issue might be caused by the memory card, because the games get saved to the memory card and if the card is corrupted, then the games wouldn't be able to download correctly, but I'm just guessing on that. The Gameloft Live could be an issue on Gameloft's side, because this has happen to me before a bunch of times, just not in a while until this week. I wish I could just use 3G or 4G to download the game, then maybe it would finish. What's odd though with the downloading error, is that other games like X-Plane and The Sims 3 download over my Wifi connection without any problems, its just Gameloft games that keep messing up. I'm going to take my phone into a Sprint store tomorrow for a few issues and I will see if they can figure it out. I will let you know if they find a cause. I have also emailed Gameloft (Android.support AT gameloft.com or Support AT gameloft. com) but they haven't really been any help. They just resend me the download links, which I can already access those by going to Gameloft's (My Download) page at
http://www.gameloft.com/my-downloads/ . So the links are not all that helpful. I really just need their tech support help, but as much as I like Gameloft, they are not really good at offering tech support. I know I'm posting two different issues, but they might be related.

Also, I.do nor get an option.to play Nova 2 over local.WiFi. but my friend does on his Samsung Vibrant. I guess this is model.specific? Anyone.know?

Are you still having trouble logging into Gameloft Live? I was finally able to login this morning, but the downloads are still not working correctly. If your still having an issue, contact Gameloft using the email addresses that I posted. They might be able to reset your login settings, or do something on their side that could fix this issue.

Please let me know if you figure out what is causing your issues.

Yeah I have also thought that it could be a router problem, but my iPod Touch and laptop are still able to use WiFi without any problems. So I'm not really sure what to blame for the issues. For me I think my memory card is to blame for the downloading issues. Its a new card, but its a no name card. So its most likely a knock-off that is just garbage. I bought a Samsung memory card last night, so if my Samsung card doesn't mess with Gameloft, then I will know for a fact that the other card is to blame. I would definitely contact Gameloft if I was you and see if they can help you. They have a phone number for tech support, so that would be your best bet.

A 32GB memory card that I purchased to replace two other 32GB defective memory cards, turned out to also be defective. That is why the Gameloft game downloads were failing. Once I bought a new, better memory card, the games downloaded without any problems. The defective memory card also seem to be the blame for a lot of my connection issues to Gameloft Live. The corrupted memory card, corrupted the game files and made it so my games weren't complete. Now with the new card I can connect without any problems. There could have also been issues on Gamelofts side, but most of the connection issues were from my defective memory card.

Jsorryman, did you get your Gameloft Live connection to work? What was the problem?
