I am a novice here so I'm not sure what exactly what I'm doing. I went to doperoms.com and downloaded streetfighter. I open it using androzip but dont now which rom to use. Snesiod , gensoid, gearoid, nesoid all fail to work. Any help would be great

The rom is the game. The website should tell you which game system that rom is for. Once you have that information you can get the correct emulator from the market.

Well you could have a bad Rom. Not all Roms from the internet are good roms. some I have downloaded have not work but on other sites they did work. I also have Astro file manager on my evo which I use to unzipped the files then load them in with the nesoid or snes. You have to try other sites for good roms.

You have to get the corresponding emulator.
Did you get it for the GBA? Then get Gameboid.

Thanks. Got it to work. And you guys are right, some roms don't work. Can someone name some of the sites where one can get good roms?

my advice is to get on a torrent site and download a complete verified collection of roms.
then pick out of that.

grabbing roms from internet "rom websites" is usually a big waste of time, as most dont work or you have to jump through hoops and spam to download something. big time waster.
